About State Your Being

I’ve often been told I’m a good gift giver. I think that comes from paying attention to the person—what they like, what they need, and where they are in life.

That habit extends well beyond gifts. I read too much, search too much, and am chronically online—which, for once, is useful. I rarely buy anything without checking at least three sources, reading the reviews, and checking whether the reviews seem trustworthy.

State Your Being is where I share those discoveries and the thinking that went into finding them. You’ll find useful things for everyday life, thoughtful ideas for particular people and situations, and practical answers to questions that are not always as simple as they first appear.

Some things are here because I’ve used them myself. Others are things I’ve researched carefully or found interesting enough to consider. I’ll tell you which is which, what caught my attention, and anything I think you should know before deciding for yourself.

The point is not to persuade you to buy more. It is to help you sort through the options, understand what may fit, and spend less time starting from scratch.
