Disclosures & Privacy

State Your Being is operated by Engage, Empower, Evolve LLC.
Here is what you should know about how recommendations are chosen, how some links work, how AI may assist with the editorial process, and what happens when you visit this site. None of it needs to be mysterious.
-
Yes. Some links on State Your Being are affiliate links. If you follow one and make a purchase, I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
An affiliate relationship does not determine whether something is included. Recommendations begin with whether an item seems useful or relevant—not whether its link happens to earn money.
Affiliate relationships will also be disclosed near the recommendations they apply to. If a product is provided free or discounted, or a post is sponsored, that relationship will be disclosed clearly as well.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
-
The things included on State Your Being do not all come to me in the same way.
Some are products I have personally used. Some are things I have researched carefully. Others are useful or interesting finds that seem worth considering, even when I have not used them myself.
I will make those distinctions clear. I will not describe research as personal experience or suggest that I tested something when I did not.
Nothing is included simply to fill space. There are already enough lists on the internet doing that.
-
I may use artificial intelligence tools to help organize research, compare information, explore ideas, structure drafts, or edit for clarity.
AI is a tool in that process—not the source of personal experience or the final judge of whether something belongs here. I review and approve what is published, and the final choices, conclusions, and recommendations remain mine.
AI is not used to invent personal experience, reviews, testimonials, or product claims. When AI plays a meaningful role in creating or substantially altering a published image or other creative asset, I will disclose that where it appears.

The recommendations on State Your Being are meant to make your search easier—not make the final decision for you.
Everyone’s needs, preferences, circumstances, and budgets are different. Something that worked very well for me, or appeared promising based on careful research, may not be the right fit for you. I’ll explain what I know and distinguish personal experience from research, but you are responsible for deciding whether a product is appropriate for your needs.
Before purchasing, please review the current product listing, specifications, sizing, compatibility, safety information, seller policies, and any other details that matter to your situation. Prices, availability, product information, and links can change—occasionally with impressive timing.
When you purchase through an outside website, the transaction is completed with the seller or platform shown there. State Your Being does not process purchases made through this website or control third-party payments, inventory, shipping, returns, warranties, customer service, or product performance.
A recommendation is not a guarantee that a product will perform the same way for everyone or produce a particular result. Information on this site is provided for general purposes and is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice.

State Your Being does not currently ask visitors to create accounts, subscribe to a newsletter, leave public comments, or make purchases directly through this website.
Squarespace hosts the site and may process technical information needed to operate, secure, and measure its use. Depending on the site’s settings and your cookie choices, this may include information such as your IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, referral source, and general site activity.
Squarespace may also use necessary, analytics, or performance cookies. Where available, you can manage nonessential cookies through the site’s cookie controls or your browser settings.
When you follow an affiliate link and purchase from Amazon or another retailer, that retailer—not State Your Being—collects and processes your account, payment, shipping, and purchase information. State Your Being does not receive your payment information, shipping address, or retailer account credentials.
If you contact me through email or an outside platform, the information you choose to send is also handled according to that provider’s privacy practices. I do not sell or rent personal information.
