The things in our lives should be meaningful, useful, and chosen thoughtfully. That is the idea behind State Your Being.
What we wear, what we keep in our homes, and the tools we reach for every day all shape how daily life feels.
It doesn’t have to be particularly philosophical. Sometimes the right thing simply makes life easier—and that matters, too.

Most of what appears here starts with ordinary life: raising kids, helping family, hosting people, or trying to solve something that should probably be easier than it is.
Some finds are things I’ve used myself. Others are things I’ve researched carefully or believe are worth considering. I’ll always tell you which is which.
Nothing is included simply to fill space. When a link is an affiliate link, I’ll say so clearly.

You’ll find lists and guides built around real questions and situations rather than product categories.
Some will help solve an everyday problem. Some will make a decision easier. Others may introduce you to something useful, thoughtful, or unexpectedly good.
The subjects will vary, because real life does. Think of this as a running collection of things that turned out to be worth sharing—with the thinking included.
I’ve often been told I’m a good gift giver. I’ve always believed a gift should reflect the person receiving it and where they are in life. State Your Being grew out of that same instinct: to pay attention, look carefully, and share the useful things I find—along with the thinking that led me to them.
